On Thursday, April 10, the STEAM Learning Ecologies (SLEs) project was in the spotlight at the GenB-BioBeo Final Event: “Bridging Generations: Education and Policy to Shape a Sustainable Future”, held in Brussels.
Laura Mentini, Project Manager at APRE, joined a dynamic panel discussion titled “Education as the Main Driver of the Circular and Sustainable Transition Towards the Future Bioeconomy Strategy”, presenting the objectives and key achievements of the SLEs project.

In addition to the panel, the event featured the “Education in
Action” experiential exhibition, where attendees explored hands-on tools
and educational materials developed by several pioneering Horizon Europe
projects.
Alongside SLEs, other projects showcased included GenB, BioBeo,
BioGov.Net, CLEVERFOOD, LOESS, NBSEduWorld, ProBleu, Circular Schools, Life
Terra, BlueMissionMed, and BlueRev. Together, these initiatives aim
to inspire and equip the next generation with the knowledge and tools to shape
a sustainable, circular bioeconomy.
Representatives from the SLEs project partners, namely APRE,
European Schoolnet, and Ecsite, were present at the event.
