STE(A)M Learning Ecologies took part in this year’s CoMuseum Conference, which marked its 15th anniversary with a powerful theme: “Museums and Hope”.

The STE(A)M Learning Ecologies (SLEs) celebration event in Malta that took place on November 18th 2025, highlighted not only the achievements of the past years, but also the strong foundations being laid for long-term sustainability and expansion.

The third and final STE(A)M Learning Ecologies (SLEs) policy event, held online on October 23rd, 2025, brought together over 50 participants from across Europe, including European Commission officers, EU project managers, and the project’s pilots’ participants.

On November 18, join the 3rd SLEs Community Gathering to celebrate the achievements of the project, but also to explore how to sustain and scale this approach, as well as other Open Schooling methodologies across Europe.

SLEs has recently released “STE(A)M Learning Ecologies and Creativity: A Typology of Open Schooling Projects Based on Stakeholder and Learner Engagement”, published in Thinking Skills and Creativity (Elsevier).

On October 1st, the Agricultural Technical Institute (ITA) Garibaldi school in Rome hosted the event “Biotechnologies and Healthy Lifestyles to Protect the Fragility of Youth and the Territory”, as part of the European Biotech Week. The initiative was organized within the SLEs project.

On October 23, join the 3rd SLEs Policy Learning Session, organised by APRE and European Schoolnet, focusing on “Celebrating the Achievements of the SLEs Journey and Lessons Learned” for policy.

The research report and data set of “Clear the Air: A Student-Led Climate Action Project” SLE are now publicly available! This SLE the power of student-led, data-driven initiatives to raise awareness and inspire action on climate change at the community level.
