National communities

One mission

Are you someone who champions Open Schooling and is passionate about STE(A)M education? Embark on a journey with your SLEs National Community, and join a network of like-minded enthusiasts and experts in your country. Engage with individuals and organizations creating a dynamic and diverse community that opens learning to everyone!

What is an SLEs National Community?

The SLE National Communities are hubs dedicated to all educators and interested stakeholders in specific countries. They represent a platform to reflect on unique needs, and discuss and address challenges in your native language! Unlike the SLEs International Community, your National Community will:

  • Explore national curriculum guidelines in detail and exchange language-specific teaching strategies to effectively communicate scientific knowledge
  • Organize and involve you in relevant dialogues through events in your language, highlighting any country-specific challenges faced by educators
  • Share successful initiatives and best practices implemented by national SLEs, inspiring and encouraging local collaboration
  • Provide basic website navigation and resources in the native language(s) of each National Community for wider accessibility
  • Connect you with experienced educators from the International Community.
